Assoc. Prof. ÅžAHÄ°N Ä°DÄ°N
Åžahin Ä°DÄ°N received his Ph.D. degree in Science Education from Hacettepe University. He is currently working at The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBÄ°TAK). His research interests focus on Science Communication, STEM Education, Informal Learning, Gifted/Talented Students, Social Justice and Equity. He is editor-in-chief of the Journal of STEAM Education. Besides, he is one of the founder of STEAM Education Research Association (STEAM-Der) and he was first president of the organisation. He is a member of the “Public Communication of Science and Technology (PCST)” and International History, Philosophy and Science Teaching Group (IHPST) He has been involving in several European Commission scientific projects (e.g., STEM, Scientix ), H2020 and Erasmus Plus Projects.
